Child Safety Standards
REDSIX – Child Safety Standards (CSAE/CSAM)
1. Purpose & scope
These standards set out REDSIX’s policies and processes to prevent, detect, and respond to child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM) across our apps and websites. They apply to all users, staff, contractors, and partners. They reference REDSIX (developer: Bravo 6 Pty Ltd) exactly as shown on our app store listings.
2. Our standards (zero tolerance)
- Zero tolerance for CSAE/CSAM, grooming, sextortion, sexualisation of minors, and trafficking.
- We will remove illegal content promptly and report confirmed CSAM to relevant authorities.
- Users must not upload, solicit, share, or link to CSAE/CSAM or engage in behaviour that endangers children.
- Users must not ask for, or share, sexualised images of minors, or attempt to coerce or deceive minors.
- We prohibit harassment, bullying, and threats towards minors, and any attempts to circumvent safety systems.
3. Definitions
- Child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE): behaviour that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers children, including grooming, sextortion, trafficking, and facilitation of sexual exploitation.
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM): any visual depiction involving a minor in sexually explicit conduct, including images, videos, and computer‑generated imagery. In many jurisdictions CSAM is a serious criminal offence.
4. In‑app reporting (two taps or less)
- Within the app go to Profile → Help & Safety → Report. Choose “Safety/CSAM” or the most relevant option.
- You can also email safety@redsix.com.au from within the app.
- Do not download, store, or further share suspected CSAM. If you have a link/handle, describe it in your report without attaching the material.
5. What happens when you report
- Triage: We prioritise safety/CSAM reports.
- Immediate actions: If content appears illegal or seriously harmful, we will restrict access, preserve relevant logs/metadata, and prevent further sharing.
- Review: Trained moderators assess the report. Where confirmed or strongly suspected, we remove material and escalate to the appropriate authority.
- User measures: We may warn, restrict, suspend, or permanently ban accounts. We may also limit features to reduce risk.
- Follow‑up: Where appropriate and legally permitted, we will acknowledge receipt of your report.
6. Lawful preservation & reporting
- We preserve records, logs, and minimal necessary information to comply with law and support lawful investigation.
- Australia: Reports and referrals may be made to the Australian Centre to Counter Child Exploitation (ACCCE) and/or the eSafety Commissioner (illegal and restricted online content). We cooperate with lawful requests from police and regulators. International users will be referred to appropriate regional authorities.
7. Lawful preservation & reporting
We may remove content, restrict features, and suspend or terminate accounts where we reasonably believe these standards, our Terms, or the law have been breached. Evasion attempts (new accounts, devices) may result in permanent bans.
8. Safety resources (Australia)
- Emergency: Call 000 if someone is in immediate danger.
- Report online child exploitation: ACCCE — police‑led reporting portal.
- Illegal or restricted online content / image‑based abuse: eSafety Commissioner — removal and complaints.
